Q: how do I create an account?
click "sign up" and enter your email, username, and password. that's it.
Q: is teliprompt free?
yes. creating an account, posting prompts, and browsing are all free.
Q: do I need an AI subscription to use teliprompt?
no. you can browse and copy prompts without any AI subscription. you only need an AI tool when you want to use the prompt yourself.
Q: how do I post a prompt?
click "new prompt" in the sidebar. write your prompt, paste the output the AI gave you, pick a section and model, and publish.
Q: what are the output types?
text (prose, emails, explanations), code (functions, scripts), UI (HTML/CSS rendered in browser), and image (Midjourney, DALL-E results).
Q: what are parameters?
write {variable_name} anywhere in your prompt and it becomes a fillable field. viewers can customize your prompt by filling in the blanks.
Q: can I edit my prompt after posting?
yes. click edit on your prompt page. you can change everything including the prompt text and output.
Q: how do I delete a prompt?
go to your prompt page and click delete. this cannot be undone.
Q: what is remixing?
click "remix" on any prompt to fork it into your editor. modify it, improve it, and post your version. the original creator is credited automatically.
Q: what are collections?
collections let you bundle related prompts together. create a collection from your profile and add prompts to it.
Q: how do notifications work?
you get notified when someone likes your prompt, comments on it, follows you, replies to your comment, or remixes your prompt.
Q: how do I change my avatar?
go to settings and click your avatar to upload a new one.
Q: what is a specialty?
your main area of expertise. it shows as a badge on your profile and helps people find you.
Q: what is prompt style?
a label you give yourself describing how you write prompts — like "chain-of-thought" or "role-based" or "minimalist".
Q: what sections are available?
UI/UX, backend, coding, writing, marketing, data & analytics, productivity, research, design, video & audio, gaming, and general.
Q: can I post in any section?
yes. post in whichever section fits your prompt best.
Q: how do I report inappropriate content?
click the flag icon on any prompt, comment, or profile. select a reason and submit.
Q: what happens after I report something?
we review all reports manually and take action if the content violates our terms.
